Hi everyone, I just joined this group. I do not work due to disability. So I have plenty of time to sew. I love art of all kinds, but quilting and sewing crafts is what I do best ! I am looking forward to reading posts from others and seeing what other people are sewing and working on. Does anyone here post pictures under the group photos? I would love to see your finished works. I wll post mine to share some things I have done lately. Lately I have been making Pet Beds to sell, and I have a set of decorator pillows and table runners, and a few wall hangings. Happy stitching, Treehousemom

Hello,everybody! I have been sewing since I was nine years old, and that's longer ago than I'd like to admit. I don't make too many clothes anymore, but I make a lot of decorative pillows for church raffles and bride shower gifts. I also like to sew tote bags and an occasional quilt. I work from home and spend too many hours working so have brought my sewing machine back out to spend some "creative" time doing fun things. Starting with little zipper make up bags and buying the designer samples (17" x 17") which will make 1 bag each. Beautiful fabrics, mix and match designs and really neat (cheap) gifts for friends... I'm having fun...

Hello, I just joined also (March 21st). I have been an artist of some sort for 30+ years now. I am currently into quilting and sewing, but am doing a lot of fiber art as well. Looking forward to being able to share and exchange ideas and to keeping myself inspired to not be afraid to try new things.
