Morning Everyone..
I am sewing a scalloped valance for a dining room window that is a total
142 inches wide. Even tho there is a 13 inch space between two windows, I want to make the valance go across.
My question is...since it is this wide, would it be best to make two separate valance or one that full size? It will be lined.

Thank you so much for your input..Yes, the valance is the only window dressing and I will go with what you recomend.

Is the valance the only window dressing? If so I would make it continuous. If I was having a drape hanging down the outside edge only, of each window, I would make one valance. If I was having both windows with drapes on both sides of each then I would make separate valances. Sorry if that is hard to understand.
